Techmer PM is a leading materials design company and works in deep partnership with plastics processors, OEMs, and designers to solve some of their most difficult business, manufacturing, and sustainability challenges. For more than 30 years, we have helped consumer and industrial product manufacturers achieve the finest color, texture, appearance, and functional enhancements for a variety of product applications.
We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer for the West Region Remote.
The desired candidate will design, implement and support information systems which enhances strategic goals and initiatives, creates competitive advantage, and allows for growth of all entities within the organization in a manner consistent with the Mission Principles and Values of Techmer PM.
Responsibilities include:
- Territory Planning and Strategy
- Account Development
- Culture Management
- Profitability Management
- New Customer Development
- Other duties may be assigned
Education/Experience:
- Four-year college degree or better, preferred degree in technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years industry experience or 2 years internal training
- Experience calling on OEM's. preferably with Consumer Packaged Goods, Construction, and/or Building enterprises
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
- Capability to understand customer processes, troubleshoot product issues, apply problem solving tools and effectively communicate a resolution
- Ability to develop, communicate, and implement a vision for a sales territory
- Superior communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills
- Ability to custom tailor your sales approach to address the unique needs of a customer and market
The salary range for this position is $105,000-$142,000 per year.
